F2F? More than Important!

The effect of the growth of technology is seen clearly in this century. Nowadays, so many things are done by the technology. Working, studying, even in the spare time, we also use it. As a student, we do our assignment with full of technology, right? We type our assignment using a laptop, while typing we are listening the music trough mp3 player, it uses technology. Not only that, today do you know your friend who still survives without gadget? I think you will answer “Nobody”. I realize that, perhaps I won’t survive without gadget. Everyday I browse, make a call, texting, watching tv, listening the music, that’s all using technology.

I admit that technology gives us many advantages, it helps us in doing many things, it makes our work become easier, it makes our communication runs well with someone in distance, it gives us entertainment, but in the other hand, it also makes us losing one of the important thing in this life, technology kills our time to make face to face communication.

Face to face communication is really needed in this life. We could solve our problem through a good communication. As we know, many things break because of a bad communication. And now, technology also being a barrier to our communication. In a home, everyone has one gadget at least. Could you imagine, in the dining room, after dinner everyone still sits on their chair but they are just having too much interest to their gadget. It’s really bad, I bet. Technology kills the time to make a warm talking in a very modern family.

Besides, we can see children nowadays play with a hi-tech gadget. In one side, I am really jealous with them, they use gadget that eventually I don’t have. But, in the other side I feel lucky that I am not on their age today. Why? When I was a little girl, I used to play with my friend outside my home. We ran, laughed, cried, and did so many exciting games. But children nowadays, they just sit beautifully in a home, see the screen and play with it. They lose their beautiful times about their childhood.

Actually, the choices are still in our own hand. We can choose whether we will make face to face communication running well or keep being friend with our gadget almost everytime. For sure, face to face communication is having something that couldn’t be paid by the technology.

Remember guys, we are a social creature, not solitary. We may have many friends in the social media, but remind yourself that actually you have a real life in this world. You need to make a warm talking with others. So, lets try to make more talking trough face to face and try to save your gadget. Save gadgets also mean save energy, pals. Almost every gadgets using a battery, battery needs to recharge, recharge using the electricity. Electricity means energy. To save our world, we have to save the energy, right? So??? J

Simple thing, but..

It was a rainy afternoon, and my eyes were getting sleepy. I saw the clock again and again, to make sure how long time was taking to go home. Suddenly, my eyes opened while hearing this story from my teacher.

It happens to my teacher’s niece. Her niece was about 2 years old, and she loved to eat orange. She could eat the oranges till a half of kilo in a day. Someday, she was at home with her granny and kept eating the orange. Accidentally, the seed of the orange was eaten. Actually, this is the usual thing, even she didn’t cry because of it, at that moment.

After that moment, that girl grew up bigger, bigger and bigger. One day, her mom realized one thing, her girl was not growing up normally, like the other girl in the same age. Her girl was not fat, but she thought that her girl was swollen. Then, she brought her girl to the doctor, and the doctor had told that the girl’s kidney was suffering an illness.

Her mom didn’t give up to make her girl recovered. She tried many ways, not only medical treatment but also the traditional one. She also listed down every single thing that her girl had to do, even the medical method. Unfortunately, after several months ran the treatment, medical team couldn’t save her to keep living. They just could try, but the result is still in God’s handling.

We know that, perhaps the seed was not the cause of the girl’s death. But, at least it would be the stimulus. It could notice her mom that her girl was not in good condition.

From this story, we could conclude that, don’t be never ever underestimate a thing, even though it’s a simple little thing. A simple little thing, it could give the big effect. So, pay your attention to the little thing, to the detail. Without the little thing, big thing is impossible to happen. Little thing for you, could mean big thing for other J

My Lovely SMANSA Landbouw

This is my lovely Smansa Landbouw, it located at Jalan Syech Jamil Jambek No. 36 Landbouw, Bukittinggi. Just for information, Landbouw comes from Dutch. It means "agriculture" or "pertanian" in Bahasa. Based on the history, before this school was built, the land was owned by the Department of Agriculture.

Smansa Landbouw was established on 1959. For the first time, this school was provided for the student who decided the science major, because at that moment, the students who decided social major was in SMAN 2 Bukittinggi (now). Today, Smansa Landbouw is one of the RSBI - International School Wannabe - in Bukittinggi.

Smansa Landbouw is famous with its main building. It is also known as the landmark of this school. The main building has 3 floors with 2 balconies in the 2nd floor. I think that, the balconies might be the favorite place for many students in my school.

The other cool thing in my school is the tower. Actually, this tower is used to save the water, but nowadays it also become the landmark of Smansa Landbouw. Besides, Smansa Landbouw also has a big teacher's room, a Mesjid, an Auditorium, some laboratories, a new kitchen which is used for Boga lesson, and the most favorite place in this school area where you can do everything there, and it seems like the school's paradise that called CANTEEN. I dont tell you a lie, every students must agreed that canteen is the paradise of the school. I believe that the canteen has been being the witness for many things :)

Smansa Landbouw has some extracurriculars, such as Pramuka-Paskibra, Sispala, PMR, Sketsa, KIR, Basketball, LPI, etc.
